Job Description
Our client is a leading international industrial group, currently seeking a Senior Corporate Planning Officer to strengthen their strategic and operational planning activities in Vietnam. This role focuses on investment portfolio management, budget planning, and cross-functional coordination to support the company’s long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investment Portfolio Management
• Oversee and optimize the company’s capital investment portfolio in line with strategic priorities.
• Coordinate the prioritization and alignment of projects with corporate objectives.
• Monitor implementation progress, analyze performance, and ensure effective resource allocation.
• Conduct post-investment assessments to evaluate project effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
• Consolidate and analyze investment data across business units.
2. Standards & Norms Management
• Support the development and application of internal technical and economic standards across operations.
• Ensure these standards are updated and consistently applied in day-to-day activities.
3. Reporting
• Consolidate data and prepare standardized investment and planning reports for management review.
• Provide timely updates on capital expenditure performance and other assigned reports.
4. Budget & Procurement Planning
• Monitor and update annual budget frameworks.
• Support budget preparation, review, and monitoring of procurement plans.
5. Policy & Procedures
• Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of internal planning policies and guidelines.
6. Capability Development
• Support internal capability building through knowledge sharing and structured training activities.
7. Other Duties
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline. A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in corporate planning, investment management, or financial planning, preferably in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
• Good understanding of business planning, budgeting, and project evaluation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English (equivalent to TOEIC 700 or higher).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work with large datasets and prepare management reports.
