Job Description

As our Footwear Costing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping profitability and driving financial success for a portfolio of world-class brands. Reporting to the Senior Costing Manager, you’ll lead a talented Brand Costing team—guiding strategic pricing initiatives, steering complex factory negotiations, and optimizing cost strategies across global operations. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop, refine, and execute best-in-class costing strategies, frameworks, and processes to elevate operational efficiency and lead strategic initiatives.

Cost Optimization: Champion cost engineering and continuous improvement efforts—analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and achieving significant cost savings opportunities.

Negotiation Excellence: Oversee and lead high-stakes negotiations with suppliers and vendors, securing favorable outcomes and providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Team Leadership & Growth: Inspire, mentor, and empower your Brand Costing team. Establish clear OKRs and guide them in achieving brand-level seasonal MFP margin objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with global partners, functional leaders, and key manufacturing vendors to support long-term business success.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in footwear costing and/or manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong command of both spoken and written English.

Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to drive competitive pricing outcomes.

Highly results-driven, capable of planning and executing effectively under tight timelines.

Solid technical understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Proficient in IT applications, particularly advanced Excel functions.

Demonstrates integrity, adaptability, and openness to continuous improvement and change.
