Job Purpose
Responsible for establishing, operating, and supervising the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure that all strategic programs/projects, especially the bank’s comprehensive digital transformation, are executed consistently, on schedule, within budget, and with the expected quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop the project governance framework, processes, tools, and systems in alignment with international standards.
• Manage and monitor the portfolio of strategic projects (digital banking, core banking replacement, data & analytics, digital channels, operations & automation, etc.).
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, risks, costs, and effectiveness to the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring that digital transformation programs are aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business units, technology partners, consultants, and vendors to optimize resources and ensure successful delivery.
• Build and develop a professional project management team; foster a culture of digital transformation, agility, and results orientation.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, IT, Finance – Banking, or related fields; MBA preferred.
• International project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master).
• At least 10 years of experience, with 5 years in senior management roles related to PMO/Transformation Office in banking or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations and trends in digital transformation, digital banking, fintech, data & AI.
• Excellent leadership, change management, communication, and presentation skills.
