Job Description

Job Overview:
The Demand Planner plays an essential role in the seamless operation of supply chain activities, ensuring that we have the right products in the warehouse for on-time delivery to customers, inventory levels are maintained in a manner that aligns with demand forecasts and business objectives.
This position involves a careful balance of analysing sales trends, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with procurement to optimize inventory turnover and minimize overstock situations.

Job Requirements:
• Ensure the on time and complete execution of the daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting activities with the aim of achieving the best possible forecast accuracy and value add metrics.
• Lead direct meetings with relevant business stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, finance)
- Ensure the regional consensus demand plan consolidation for the assigned scope of responsibility, by executing the following core processes: Statistical Forecast Enrichment
- New Product Introduction (NPI) & Promotion Forecasting
- Execution of OMP Tasks List
- Forecast Consensus Meetings with Sales
- KPI Reporting
- Sales Reporting
• Support the implementation of SEA and/or Regional forecasting process guidelines, driving continuous improvement (CIP) and harmonization.
• Direct project management for the assigned initiatives within SEA.
• Oversee daily inventory and demand planning using our SAP and OMP systems.
• Monitor and review weekly stock availability on all purchase orders to maintain in-stock positions and meet customer demand.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize overstock situations.
• Analyze sales patterns, customer demand, and seasonal fluctuations to forecast inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels across all warehouses in South East Asia.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to order materials, ensuring timely deliveries to meet inventory requirements.
• Communicate inventory status and performance to management and cross-functional teams.
• Manages the sample request from Sales.

Job Requirements

• University degree with preferred Logistics and Supply Chain management, International Economics (APICS certification as a plus)
• 5 years of experience in a supply chain planning role (APO / OMP or similar tool knowledge is a plus) within a matrix organized multinational company
• Very good written and spoken English skills (C1 level or higher)
• Capability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders (e.g., sales mgmt.) to enable the forecast enrichment process.
• Skilled communicator with a focus on stakeholder involvement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A good understanding of supply planning principles
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and virtual environment
• Familiar with SAP system, especially SAP S/4 HANA
