*Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Operations Manager to oversee the execution of multiple projects within the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations. This role will also focus on continuous improvement of project execution processes and team development.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement improvements to the local project execution strategy in line with global/regional guidelines.
- Manage the portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency in execution according to best practices and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, finance, technical) to ensure project alignment and efficient delivery.
- Supervise project performance through regular reviews, ensuring contract fulfillment and addressing any deviations or escalations.
- Drive compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, ensuring a safety-first culture across all projects.
- Lead the development and training of the project execution team, ensuring sufficient skills and competencies to meet business goals.
- Ensure proper application of contract management methodologies and participate in contract negotiations where necessary.
- Monitor project risks and issues, providing timely support to resolve escalated project challenges.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project success and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
*Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly in industrial, construction, or technical environments.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Lean) and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large, complex project portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience with budgeting, financial targets, and performance reviews.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in project environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
