Job Description
Our client is a pioneer in SaaS solutions for for the payments, banking, and processing industries. Established in 1999, we provide platforms for risk management, compliance, business intelligence, and customer intelligence. We have offices in Vietnam and are looking for talented Data Engineer to work remote directly with our internal team & client team in US.
- With Talend, create new ETL pipelines or improve current ones, test them, and implement them.
- Assist with production support and develop new apps as well as maintain and support existing ones by performing application software development.
- Ensure that technical designs meet functional requirements.
- Completely automate the ETL process from beginning to end for the different datasets being ingested.
- Software applications should be developed and integrated utilizing appropriate development processes and standards, standard architectural patterns, and consideration of important performance and security features.
- Address client concerns using data, and react to recommendations for additions and improvements
- Offer tactics for both general system enhancements and the technical facets of initiatives.
- Guarantees compliance with set guidelines and may confer with higher-level executives regarding technological fixes.
Job Requirements
- More than five years' relevant IT expertise
- More than a year of Talend Data Integration module development expertise
- Experience in Data Quality, API Design, Talend Administration Center, and Services for at least a year.
- Expertise using Oracle RDBMS, Hadoop, Hive, and HDFS for at least a year
- Knowledge in Java programming and PL-SQL;
- Demonstrated experience with database schema, object management, data modeling and architecture, and data warehouse design
- A background in REST API integration
- Proficiency with Shell scripting and Unix/Linux
- Practical experience with source-code control with a GitLab-type tool
- Familiarity in secure coding techniques and CI/CD and DevOps development
- An advantage is performance tuning.
- A plus is having knowledge of new cloud technologies linked to big data.
- It helps to have prior expertise in the banking or finance sectors.
