Job Description
OVERVIEW
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of electronic components, ensuring that production meets the required specifications, quality standards, and timelines. This role involves coordinating with various departments to streamline operations, optimize productivity, and drive continuous improvement within the production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project deadlines.
Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing workforce.
Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any issues.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and materials are available for production.
Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular production reports, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics, to senior management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Good communication in Korean.
Proven experience in production management within an electronic components manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
