Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant to join our dynamic core team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP EWM to guide, implement, and support warehouse operations for our customers. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, as well as the ability to translate business needs into effective SAP EWM configurations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with customer business teams and project teams, conducting requirement-gathering workshops, mapping requirements to SAP EWM processes, identifying gaps, and devising appropriate solutions.
- Understand and support processes for custom developments, including unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-implementation support phases.
- Contribute to SAP EWM rollout projects and provide ongoing support for operational plants post go-live.
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex concepts, both orally and in writing, to diverse stakeholders.
- Work independently and effectively on assigned projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Build and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships across teams.
- Actively lead and mentor team members during rollouts, providing guidance on both functional and technical aspects of SAP EWM solutions.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years in relevant roles, with proven expertise in SAP; with 3 years in EWM roll-out/ implemetation. SAP EWM certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
Comprehensive understanding of SAP EWM process flows.
Proficiency in advanced EWM functions, including warehouse strategies, warehouse orders (WO), warehouse tasks (WT), handling units (HU), process-oriented storage control (POSC), resource management, wave management, RF, value-added services (VAS), warehouse monitor, and alert management.
Knowledge of additional EWM functionalities like Shipping Cockpit, DAS, EGF, and MFS is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with integration across SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
Working experience with EDI/IDOC and third-party interface integration.
- Soft Skills:
Fluency in English with excellent communication abilities.
Strong analytical and learning aptitude.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
